Austin Gracey
Coach Austin Gracey grew up in Spring, TX where he graduated from Klein Oak High School in 2007. He played baseball and basketball at Oak. He was a First Team All-Greater Houston baseball selection in 2007 and went on to play collegiate baseball.
He played at Cisco Junior College in ’08 and ’09. In 2009, he was elected to play in the JUCO All-Star Game at Baylor. After Cisco, he went on to play at the University of Houston in 2010 and 2011. He played 3rd base and tied a UH single game record with 3 home runs against UTSA during the 2010 season. He graduated with a degree in Psychology.
Coach Gracey has spent the previous 10 years at Hildebrandt Intermediate and the last 12 years coaching youth baseball of various age groups.
He will be coming to Oak to join his wife, Katie, who works in the ACCESS department. Their son, Mason, is also very excited to join the Panther family. His parents, Jimmy and Tracy, still reside in Northampton and he also has a brother, Trevor, who attended Klein Oak, played baseball at Klein Oak and played collegiate baseball as well.
Coach Gracey’s other responsibilities at Oak include coaching freshman football and teaching Algebra 1.
